We took in Lobo from a vet in CA – He was hit by a car and taken to a vet, where his microchip tracked down the owners. They were called, but told the vet that he was always getting out and they couldn’t afford to pay for his medical care anyway so just put him to sleep!
He is a sweet, confused boy right now, but very good natured with all the other dogs he has met, even small ones! He is also just fine with the kitty he met in his first Phoenix foster home.
He has severe nerve damage to his right leg and is unable to walk on it. (See video in comments) We are going to explore our options but if it’s as bad as it seems and entirely nerve related, there’s a good chance he will need amputation we are going to do everything we can to have that as our last resort if there are no other treatment options so he can live pain free!
If anyone is interested in medically fostering Lobo please message our page and we can discuss!
