What we are looking for

Proactive individual who is open-minded and willing to collaborate with our team to create monthly newsletters
Basic knowledge of MailChimp, or we are open to another email marketing platform that you recommend
Able to follow AZ Husky Rescue brand standards, to be provided
Basic knowledge of emailing tools (we primarily use gmail) and google suite (docs, sheets).
Passion for the volunteer work we do and the impact we are making to save lives.
Enthusiasm for volunteering with a team that shares the same mission to help pups in need

What you can expect to do:

As we grow, we would like to communicate better with our community. We have a strong following, but we don’t have a good way to consistently communicate directly with our supporters (especially those that are not on social media). To do this, we would like to send out a monthly email communication. Ideally longterm we would love to have targeted lists for our donors, fosters, and past adopters, but for now we are focusing on one newsletter email monthly that will provide updates on:

Longtime available huskies looking for a home – we will provide photos and a bio
Any upcoming adoption events
Any currently featured medical needs dogs
Congratulations to recently adopted dogs
Any other awesome ideas you bring to the table for community engagement!

Ideally we want to start small with one newsletter per month, but we are open to any level of commitment a volunteer would like to bring to the table, as improved supporter communication is definitely a priority for us as we grow.
