Accepting Foster to Adopt Apps!

Mother is Joplin, a husky mix with DNA breed and health results pending. Father is unknown.
Stevie was the first girl born – she is the most petite in the litter and also has the brightest tan markings. She’s the easiest to tell apart! She is feisty and playful.
About Foster-to-Adopt:
- Foster-to-Adopt is different from adoption in that the puppy’s still have pending medical needs.
- As a rescue, we must complete medical requirements on dogs that we adopt before we finalize adoption, even if they are already placed in their forever home.
- In fostering this dog with the intention of adopting, you are agreeing to work with us on completing all necessary medical for the pup – we work with your schedule for appointments and guide you through what needs to be done.
- In the case of Joplin’s litter, they will have their first DHPP (parvo/distemper vaccine) before placement in a foster-to-adopt home, but will need two booster shots (done three weeks apart) before they are considered fully vaccinated against parvo and distemper. These diseases are very serious and can easily kill a young puppy quickly. They will not be able to go for walks or to the dog park until they are fully vaccinated and they should not be brought out in public. At the time of their last vaccine, they will also get the rabies and bordatella vaccinations, along with spay and neuter and microchip placement.
- We require a $200 deposit when puppies are placed in the home, with the remainder of their fee to be paid when medical – this adoption fee covers all costs of his medical! Once we finalize we transfer all medical paperwork and microchip directly to the adopter!

Adoption fee will be $400 – this will include all parvo/distemper vaccinations, deworming, bordatella and rabies vaccinations, microchip and spay or neuter.
For those thinking rescue fees are high, please keep in mind the cost of our adoption fees just covers what it costs to have all of the necessary medical done for a puppy, which is listed above. Your fees are considered a donation to help us cover the cost of medical for your baby and allow us to continue to save more babies in the future by not losing money taking care of yours.
