Naimh was born in rescue on 8/25/23. Her mother Yeti came from Maricopa County Animal Care & Control – she was pregnant when she entered the shelter. Her litter was set to be aborted 3 days before she gave birth, though we were able to rescue them in time. We DNA tested one of the puppies in the litter, and the breed mix came out showing that the father was a German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois mix! Yeti, the mother, is 2/3 Siberian Husky and 1/3 Pit Bull. The puppies in this litter all predominantly take after the Belgian Malinois coloring, with none showing almost any visible husky characteristics. Their mother is a petite girl of around 30-35lbs, but these puppies are already showing signs that they will be much bigger than that when they are full grown!
