Churro
Male, estimated born 3/25/22
Churro is one of 3 huskies, all from separate litters, that we pulled from the county shelter once their parvo ward filled up and the only way to make space was euthanasia… these pups weren’t in awful condition, but being parvo positive, they did need hospitalization and special care!
Given the nature of the disease, puppies recovering from parvovirus MUST be separated from all over dogs in a home for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to introductions so that the virus can finish shedding and is no longer transmissible to other pets. Unvaccinated pets in theory should be ok, but in an overabundance of caution, we are extending this to all other pets.
Churro’s hold will end between 5/27-6/3 and will include a follow-up vet exam and a negative test requirement.
We are accepting foster-to-adopt applications at this time and will mark him as pending once a home is found.
