Meet Apollo! He was originally adopted in 2023, but has been returned to rescue after his adopters unfortunately decided that it was no longer a good fit for the household. Apollo is a handsome and cuddly boy, who is back with us and looking for a perfect fit home.
Apollo was slow to warm up to his foster home, but eventually opened up and showed what an affectionate and playful boy he is. He loves belly rubs and truly believes he is a lap dog. Apollo is very well behaved on walks, with minimal leash pulling. There are currently other large dogs in his home that he gets along well with. Like a lot of Huskies, Apollo is a big fan of food and treats!
Apollo would do well in a variety of homes. He has a medium energy level and loves walks, but also enjoys cuddling on the couch. We do not know how he would do with cats, but he has a history of exhibiting a prey drive. Due to this, we would not suggest a home with cats or small animals. Apollo is not a fan of being picked up or grabbed unexpectedly. If there are children in the home, they should be able to understand this and respect his boundaries (we would recommend age 7+). Apollo is very playful with the other dogs in his current home, and he would love a home with another doggie sibling! If you think Apollo could be the right fit for your family, he would love to meet you!
