Sugar

female Siberian Husky mix

We have no idea how this adorable little girl is still looking for a home! Sugar was estimated around 5mos when she joined us in January, and she somehow has still not found her forever home yet. She and her siblings were abandoned together, and we were thankfully able to take them in thanks to support from longtime and new fosters coming together to help them. They needed baths and were pretty skittish of people at first, but Sugar especially has really blossomed in her foster home.

She thrives with exercise and has done great on her daily morning walks with her foster family. One of her most adorable habits is to do somersaults and rolls in her favorite yards in the neighborhood on these walks! She seems to have a preference for turf and will pick out a few spots to perform. She absolutely loves other dogs and would really be best with at least one other playmate in her forever home. Her foster says she is the “goofiest, playful, curious and cuddly girl!” Sugar may tend to be shy at first when she meets new people. The socialization she has had so far is really helping her come out of her shell, but she may be a little slow to open up at first (it won’t take her too very long!).

Sugar is fully potty-trained and would be best in an active home. She should be good with kids of all ages. Cats are unknown, but we think she may do ok – we would need to do an intro to be sure. She is the most petite one of her siblings, so we don’t expect her to be too big once she’s full grown. Please fill out an adoption application to take this sweet goofy princess home!
