Currently in boarding and could really use a foster home!
BIG boy weighing in at 100lbs on intake – he needs to lose ~15 (in progress) but will be a healthy weight at 85lbs
Lived in an apartment for 1.5yrs with an owner being being surrendered to the shelter. Notes stated he had a small dog come up to him (we are unsure if the small dog was off-leash) while walking, and that the small dog was barking excessively and Shadow reacted and went for the small dog. Thankfully the dog was not seriously injured, but Shadow did get e-listed.
Has notes of being very playful with other medium to large dogs in the shelter previously; we have only been able to try one intro with another dog, and unfortunately it was another male who also tends towards the dominant side – they seemed like they wanted to play but did end up a little argumentative with each other, so we discontinued that intro. He was wagging his tail in excitement initially, so we do believe he would still be good with some other dogs – he just may need females or more submissive dogs!
Has shown no aggression whatsoever with humans – has been the absolute sweetest, friendliest most outgoing lovable guy!
Cats unknown but we suspect he may have prey drive based on his small dog incident.

Shadow is a huge boy around 101lbs - he needs a diet, but will still be a big boy when he gets healthy!
He is super loving and happy-go-lucky with humans, giving kisses and friendly with all he meets
Good with medium to large dogs and has been playful, but no small dogs - needs a foster to get out of boarding!
