5-6yr old female Shepherd/Husky Mix
Reign came to us from the Maricopa County Shelter where she was surrendered super pregnant – county reached out and asked if we could take her in, and we agreed. She gave birth less than 12hrs after we took her in!
Reign is definitely on the calmer side for the breed mix and super sweet! She does great with other dogs and children and has been around children as young as 5 with no issues and is even trusting of them holding her babies (with close adult supervision of course). She is done nursing her babies and is ready for placement in a foster-to-adopt home. She will be spayed as soon as she is ready (we wait a safe amount of time post-birth but will be in the next month or so).
Reign has gotten more vocal since her pups have grown – she will bark at other dogs in the neighborhood and has shown more watchdog-type tendencies than is typical for the breed.
We did her DNA and she is primarily Siberian Husky, Australian Cattle Dog and German Shepherd. She really is a great mix to make a loving family pet. She has no issues with other dogs and though lacking some basic training is very affectionate and loyal to her humans.
