Came to MCACC in a condition of neglect and e-listed for medical
Lancelot was up and down in his foster home - he felt good enough to play at times, but gradually began to decline again.
He had valley fever and peritonitis, an infection of the walls of the abdomen causing a buildup of fluid within - we tried to save him with surgery, but ultimately discovered his condition was significantly worse than we realized.
Sweet Lancelot had several good weeks with us and knew being bathed, loved, fed and treated as one of the pack before we had to let him go. We wish we had gotten him sooner.
