Willow was found with her brother Ash by a good samaritan in Yuma, AZ by the side of a canal. She got them to safety and started their care before turning them over to us to finish their medical and find them loving forever homes.
From Willow’s foster: “She’s brilliant—learns tricks/commands on the first couple tries. She’s a talker and tells me good morning every time I come downstairs. LOVES her walks out to the mailbox. She’s doing SO well with house training; goes potty whenever I ask her to.
She’s also very fearful of everyone but me. Runs and hides in corners, won’t walk past anyone. Seems to be afraid of both men and women. Guards toys and treats, chooses violence with Ash 😂😂😂 I can redirect her, though. I feel like she’s going to be the adventurous type that you could take out off lead, will have great recall, would enjoy an active family that will keep her stimulated mentally. She would be an amazing pup for someone willing to put in the time to train her.”
