Bailey
~1-2yr old male Husky Mix
Bailey is a 1-2 yo husky mix who came to us off the euthanasia list at a very high kill shelter in Clovis, NM. He still has some growing to come to match his paw size! All reports of Bailey from those involved in saving him from the kill shelter and transport team before he arrived at his foster home in AZ commented on what a sweet boy he is. He was turned into the shelter in NM as a stray – an eyewitness saw him thrown from a truck and picked him up and brought him to the shelter. It’s so crazy to us that such a sweet boy could be subjected to something like this!
Bailey continues to be very sweet and loving with requests for petting. He is very enthusiastic. He loves playing outside with the other dogs. He plays hard and sleeps hard as expected by a young dog. He has even taken a trip to San Diego over Thanksgiving where he met 7 very large dogs. He got along well with all 9 dogs that weekend.
Bailey is still learning manners and further training is a must to maintain his joyful companionship. He needs kind firmness and direction as he so wants to please.
Bailey is going to be a wonderful companion for someone willing to be there for him – to help him expend his youthful energy and give him a lot of much deserved love which he will gratefully return.
