Meet Arko! Arko and his brother Red were recently returned to the rescue after being adopted at 8 months old in 2018. Arko and Red were placed in different foster homes when they were returned, and both have thrived despite being separated.

Akro is incredibly affectionate with his foster parents and loves everyone he meets. He loves to curl up on the couch next to humans and sleeps perfectly with them in bed through the night. Arko has had many visits to local brewery patios and always loves meeting new people, including kids!

Arko lives with 4 other dogs and 2 cats in his foster home and does great with all of them. He shows interest in the cats but respects their space and is easily redirected if one of the cats wants to be left alone. With the other dogs, Arko loves to play and quickly adapted to the different play styles and personalities of all 4.
