Victor
2yr old male Husky, potential mix
Victor is a very sweet, well-natured boy. He is very big for a husky, which leads us to suspect potential white German Shepherd mix, but it’s really totally unknown. He is tall, his head almost reaching the counters. He is just a giant sweetheart and loves all humans. He loves to give you his paw to shake, and when he is nervous he will hand you his paw to hold onto to comfort him. He likes to lean in and be close to you as well. he does very well with children, having previously lived with a child as you as 2 with no issues. He did great for his bath, brush and vaccinations and has shown absolutely zero signs of aggression. Despite his size, he is a gentle, sweet giant.
He has no problem with other dogs for the most part, but doesn’t necessarily crave their company or attention. He can co-exist just fine with others, but he has lived alone in the past, and doesn’t go out of his way to play with other dogs. He actually gets a little scared and prefers to be left alone! He doesn’t really like when hyper, energetic dogs are in his face, so a home with crazy puppy energy may not be the best fit for him.
He is a little underweight, but hasn’t had the greatest of appetites since joining us, so we will continue to work on this! He seems to really just want a human or two to get attached to and love and form a bond with more than anything else!
