Rory – Coming Soon!
1.5 yr old female “Pomsky”
Rory is an incredibly adorable, sweet girl! She came from a Pomsky breeder, but is definitely much more predominantly husky. She is about the size of a small husky, probably around 35-40lbs, and her Pom side really only comes out in her face shape a little bit. She was surrendered by her owner who tried to work through a dog allergy to be able to keep her, but found he was just not able to, and that another home would be a better fit for her.
Initially, when first meeting new people, she can be a bit skittish. This is likely do to lack of socialization growing up, and could be improved upon with time and patience. She warms up and accepts pets and treats once she gets more comfortable. She is great with other dogs, and kids (once comfortable and with a patient approach). She definitely has a lot of puppy energy still and wants to run and play!
She is a really sweet girl looking for a forever home that will be patient and loving and continue to work with her on her socialization skills!
