1.5yr old female Siberian Husky
Lucy had her knee surgery recently and has a check-up soon but is ready to go to her forever home! She will likely need some follow-up to check up on her healing, but all cost associated with this injury will be covered by the rescue.
This sweet young girl’s fosters just adore her and have invested so much in helping her heal so she can live a full, healthy life! Lucy LOVES other dogs and does well at the dog park. Her fosters think her ideal home would have one other dog, preferably male, and not too many other pets simply because she loves her human(s) most of all! She will be your shadow and follow you everywhere.
She LOVES water and does well with doggie baths (definitely a plus!), and loves to go for rides in the car.
She is also ok with cats! Her foster has a cat in the home that she will sometimes chase playfully, so dog-savvy cat who won’t be too overwhelmed would be ideal if she is to go to a home with a cat or two. She has been living with a cat for a few months now and has never shown any desire to hurt the kitty, so we feel comfortable with this assessment – though we do always recommend cats have a safe space to get away from dogs at least at first.
She has a preference to women over men, though has definitely shown some improvements here.
This sweet, gorgeous girl would love to go home with you! Apply to meet her today!
