Brooks
~1-2yr old male Siberian Husky
Brooks is a very sweet, loving dog! He does great with other dogs and absolutely LOVES to play – we believe a home with at least one other dog is an ideal fit for him. He is more on the submissive side, and we would have a hard time seeing him start a fight with another dog unless seriously provoked. He is very loving towards humans as well. He has typical insane husky level energy so frequent exercise is a must. He knows how to sit, and loves to shake his paw with you for treats.
We don’t think he would have any sort of aggression with children, but his energy level would probably cause him to knock over small children, so we think a home with older children would be ideal if there are any.
He was found as a very matted stray in Tucson and made his way to Pima shelter. He was adopted from this shelter and his adopters had every intention to keep him, but discovered after taking him home that he has too high of a prey drive for their cat – this is very common for huskies not raised with cats. They didn’t want to bring him back to the shelter, so asked if we would help find him a home.
He comes up-to-date on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His original adopters also gave him a very good brush, so he looks and probably feels much better than he did originally!
